Scholarships for International Students at ETSU: Applications are currently open.

Degree Levels: Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctorate

Scholarship Values: Undergraduate students: $5,000 to $9,000 per year

Masters students: $5,000 per year

Doctorate students: $9,000 per year

Number of Awards: Undergraduate Students: Merit Scholarships are available for up to 8 semesters, contingent upon meeting minimum eligibility criteria.

Graduate Students: Merit Scholarships are available for up to 5 semesters, or the duration of the program.

Eligibility

Eligible Nationalities: International students

Eligibility Requirements:

To qualify for an International Merit Scholarship at ETSU, applicants must:

• Be accepted into ETSU as a degree-seeking student.
• Hold or intend to acquire an F-1 or J-1 student visa.
• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher in prior academic coursework.

Specific GPA Requirements:

• Freshman Applicants: A 3.0 GPA in High School.
• Transfer Applicants: A 3.0 GPA in previous university coursework.
• Graduate Applicants: A 3.0 GPA in undergraduate coursework.

Application Information: International Merit Scholarships are available to new degree-seeking international students. All students who apply for admission are considered for these scholarships and no separate application is needed.
