Bonn University Master’s Degree Scholarship – The United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research is dedicated to providing economic analysis and policy guidance to promote sustainable and equitable development globally. 

This Master’s program is a result of a fruitful partnership between the University of Bonn’s Department of Geography and the United Nations University. It marks a significant stride in the internationalization of the University of Bonn and receives support from the German agency, DAAD.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

• Be a candidate from a “Developing Country” (as per DAAD classification).

• Possess a minimum of two years of practical work experience (e.g., with an NGO, government organization, or private sector) in a field related to the study program.

• Have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree no longer than five years ago.

• Not have completed another Master’s program in a similar field of study.

• Aspire to pursue a career as a practitioner in a field related to the program of study.

Method of Application:

Candidates seeking consideration for these scholarships must apply for the program itself and also complete the application forms for the DAAD. 

Note that acceptance into the former does not guarantee acceptance into the latter.

 The selection process for the EPOS funding will take place between February and April each year. Candidates who do not meet the EPOS requirements but still seek financial support during their studies are encouraged to apply individually and promptly to other available funding programs in Germany.
