PhD Fellowships at University of Lisbon and -These fellowships are under the FCT Research Fellowship Regulation (RBI) and the Research Fellow Statute (EBI) and will be funded by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) through its Molecular, Structural and Cellular Microbiology (MOSTMICRO-ITQB) research unit.
Eligibility:
You are eligible to apply if you are a national or citizen of a Member State of the European Union, citizen of third States, stateless person, or recipient of political refugee status. Additionally, you must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a graduate or master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related fields.
- Have not received a doctoral fellowship funded by FCT, regardless of duration.
- Do not possess a Doctor’s degree.
Application Requirements:
- Identity card/citizen card/passport.
- Curriculum vitae.
- Certificates of academic degrees held, indicating final grades.
- Record of recognition of academic degrees awarded by foreign institutions (if applicable).
- Letter of motivation (Personal Statement) in English.
- Two letters of recommendation.
- All documents, including motivation and recommendation letters, should be in Portuguese or English.
Note:
For foreign academic degrees, recognition and conversion to the Portuguese classification scale are mandatory.
