The University of Helsinki is seeking highly motivated and skilled postdoctoral researchers with a doctoral degree and experience in chemistry, material science, or relevant fields.

The successful candidates will be expected to:
- Identify, design, conduct, and report research within the scope of the project.
- Contribute to proposal writing for further research funding.
- Assist in the supervision of master/doctoral students and teaching in biomaterial science, technology, or chemistry.
- Engage with the scientific community, research partners, and the wider public through scientific publications, conference presentations, press releases, blogs, etc.
Candidate Requirements:
- A relevant doctoral degree with experience in chemistry, material science, or related fields.
- Fluency in English and excellent writing skills.
- Experience in working with chemical analysis.
- Experience in working with biomass-based materials is desirable.
- Capacity and mindset to conduct both fundamental and applied research is beneficial.
