Stony Brook University Graduate Program in Ecology and Evolution invites applications for doctoral and master’s level graduate students for the Fall 2024 term.
The program boasts a diverse faculty engaged in research spanning humans and primates, microbes, plants, and whole ecosystems.
Fieldwork opportunities extend globally, from tropical regions to polar areas and various ecosystems in Long Island and New York.
Upon admission, Stony brook university PhD students receive guaranteed teaching assistantships, and additional financial support is available through fellowships and research assistantships as they arise.
Deadlines:
December 1, 2023: Domestic priority deadline for PhD program
January 5, 2024: Final deadline for PhD program
January 15, 2024: Priority deadline for MA program (considered on a rolling basis until April 15, 2024)
Application Process:
Prospective applicants are encouraged to reach out to faculty and potential advisors before submitting their applications.
Faculty members are open to discussing the program, specific labs, and research areas.
