Successful candidates will collaborate on research projects, gaining experience Lp in fieldwork, lab methods development, statistical analyses, and effective scientific communication through public speaking and professional writing. Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in environmental science, forestry, ecology, or a closely related field
- Detail-oriented with strong time- and project-management skills
- Evidence of strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in various weather and field conditions for extended hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in field research related to soil biogeochemistry or microbial ecology
- Evidence of completing independent research (e.g., undergraduate thesis, peer-reviewed publication)
- Experience working in lab settings
- Proficiency in statistical data analysis
