Scholarship Requirements:
Ideal candidates for the Presidential LEEP Scholarship should have a high school record placing them at the top of Clark University’s applicant pool. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong desire to:
- Pursue a demanding academic schedule.

- Meet ambitious career and life goals.
- Join a community of scholars committed to global change.
- Tackle complex challenges at home and abroad.
Duration and Reward:
Successful candidates will have the resources and opportunities to explore their interests in depth, with free tuition, room and board for four years. Annual scholarship renewal is contingent on maintaining a strong academic record at Clark during each undergraduate year.
Application Process:
Interested candidates can apply for the Presidential Scholarship by checking the relevant option when filling out the Common Application (available after Aug. 1). Detailed information, including essay topics, will be provided. Essays must be submitted by the final deadline of February 1 for Early Action, Early Decision, and Regular Decision candidates. Students selected for interviews will be notified in March.
The Admissions Committee selects finalists based on application strength and criteria identified by the committee. Last year, from over 450 applications worldwide, 15 finalists were invited for interviews, and five were awarded the scholarship. Typically, one or two international students receive this prestigious award each year.
