The University of Twente Kipaji Scholarships are designed for talented students from countries with emerging economies who may have the potential but lack the means to study at the University of Twente. This scholarship is an additional support mechanism for UTS scholarship students, aiming to provide financial assistance to those in need.

Eligibility:
To qualify for the Kipaji Scholarship, applicants should meet the following criteria in addition to the requirements of the University of Twente Scholarship:
- Nationality of one of the DAC countries (Least Developed Countries & Other Low Income Countries)
- Recipient of a (partial) University of Twente Scholarship
- Achieved good grades in their pre-master program (average of 8)
- Submission of a motivation letter describing how they intend to use their studies at the University of Twente to increase/enhance the scientific level or for entrepreneurial purposes in their home country.
Application Process:
To be eligible for the Kipaji Scholarship, applicants must first be recipients of a University of Twente Scholarship (UTS). Refer to the UTS website for specific requirements.
The faculty of the program will nominate eligible candidates for the Kipaji Scholarship.
Upon faculty request, candidates may need to submit a motivation letter outlining how they plan to use their studies at the University of Twente to increase/enhance the scientific level or for entrepreneurial purposes in their home country.
Indicate in the UTS scholarship motivation letter that you also wish to apply for the Kipaji Scholarship if you meet the criteria.
