The School of Computer Science at University College Dublin is excited to announce PhD scholarships in computer science covering diverse research areas including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Security, Next Generation of Networks, Bioinformatics and Health Informatics, HCI and Multimedia, Software and Distributed Systems. We invite candidates interested in any of these research areas to join our research groups in Dublin starting September 2024.
Qualifications:
Minimum requirements:
- A 2.1 grade (or equivalent) in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Science, or a similar technical discipline.
- Some programming ability.
- Non-native English speakers require at least IELTS 6.5 (with at least 6 in all components) or equivalent. Proof of English proficiency is not mandatory at the application stage but may be requested later.
- Contact details of two referees who will be contacted soon after the call deadline.
