IASH Postdoctoral Fellowships -The Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASH) at the University of Edinburgh is accepting applications for postdoctoral fellowships in various disciplines within the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. These fellowships provide an exceptional opportunity for early career researchers to engage in interdisciplinary scholarship and contribute to the vibrant academic community at the University of Edinburgh.

Eligibility:
- Applicants must have been awarded a doctorate at the time of application, normally within the last three years.
- Candidates should not have held a permanent position at a university or a previous Fellowship at IASH.
- Applicants with temporary or short-term appointments are eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have taken parental leave or other time away from academia may still be eligible.
- Applicants are encouraged to have made contact with researchers at the University of Edinburgh relevant to their proposed project.

- Deadline for applications: April 26, 2024, at 17:00 GMT.
- Applicants must provide a valid email address for prompt communication.
- A minimum of two and a maximum of three confidential references are required.
- Referees should email their references directly to the Director at iash@ed.ac.uk by April 26, 2024.

- Candidates should ensure all documentation is complete and referees submit their reports by the closing date.
- Fellows must make IASH their main place of work during the Fellowship tenure.
