University of Freiburg – Calling all talented researchers! The University of Freiburg in Germany is offering a doctoral research position to join their group in Inorganic Functional Materials and Nanomaterials.
Research Focus:
- Develop novel nanomaterials and interfaces for electrochemical energy conversion and storage systems (e.g., batteries, fuel cells).
- Collaborate with a diverse and international team of chemists and material scientists.
- Utilize state-of-the-art facilities at the Institute for Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry (IAAC), Freiburg Center for Material Research (FMF), and Freiburg Center for Interactive Materials and Bioinspired Technology (FIT).
Eligibility:
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Material Science, or Engineering.
- Expertise in nanomaterial synthesis/processing, material characterization techniques, and electrochemistry.
- Familiarity with enzymatic systems and spectroscopy is a plus.
- Strong teamwork, organization, communication, and writing skills in English and/or German.
