Project Description:
- Develop novel photocatalytic transformations on DNA to overcome limitations in DELs.
- Expand the range of synthetic reactions for creating diverse compound libraries.
- Play a pivotal role in groundbreaking research for advancing drug discovery and personalized medicine.
Funding:
- Tax-free stipend of £18,622 per year (standard UKRI rate).
- Full studentship for 3.5 years (UK/Home students only).
Qualifications:
- 1st class or 2:1 UK Master’s or BSc degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Natural Sciences.
- Strong interest in synthetic and medicinal chemistry.
- Enthusiasm for laboratory work.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
