2024 NCDMB Undergraduate Essay Competition Overview
The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board was established by the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act in 2010. The board is responsible for guiding, coordinating, and implementing policies that ensure Nigerian participation in the oil and gas industry. Eligibility Criteria for the 2024 NCDMB Undergraduate Essay Competition
To be eligible for the NCDMB Undergraduate Essay Competition 2024, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Enrollment: The competition is open to 100 and 200 level students in public and private universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education in Nigeria.
- Originality: You must submit original essays written specifically for this competition.

- 1st Place: ₦1,000,000 and a laptop
- 2nd Place: ₦700,000 and a laptop
- 3rd Place: ₦500,000 and a laptop
- The top 10 finalists will each receive a laptop, and NCDMB will publish the winning essay in its in-house magazine, *Local Content Digest*.
